The Opportunity
The Berry Street School is a specialist independent school consisting of four campuses based in Shepparton, Morwell, Ballarat and Noble Park. We provide a Victorian Curriculum and VCAL program for students aged 12 to 18 years who have become disengaged from mainstream education, and delivers a trauma-informed education model.
Key Responsibilities
This teaching role requires planning, implementing and delivering an engaging curriculum based on the individual needs of the students. Applicants should offer a focus on the ability to teach well-being skills, and literacy and numeracy and have the ability to formulate individual education plans addressing the social, emotional and educational needs of the students.

About You
To be successful in the role, you will hold a tertiary qualification in Teaching/Education, hold a current VIT registration and be able to work creatively to engage our young people in their education. You will understand of the importance of and have the ability to work in a team environment in this setting and an understanding of the trauma informed positive education model approach.
