Our People and Culture Team works closely with our regional and local teams to ensure that our people are engaged, well supported, professionally developed and committed to the children, young people, families and carers they work with; working in a way that supports our collaborative, supportive and learning culture.

Our broader People and Culture team comprises of HR Business Partnering, Learning and Development, Work Health and Safety, Talent Management and HR Support.  

The Opportunity

Working with a team of three Business Partners your responsibilities will consist of:

  • Acting as a confident and strategic advisor to the Director and Senior Leadership Teams on all matters pertaining to our people, including restructures, changes to our operating model, investigations and grievances.  
  • Facilitating and advocating our key HR programs within your allocated regions including (but not limited to) Succession Planning, Talent Planning, Annual Performance & Development and Supervision.
  • Partnering with our Talent Acquisition and regional leadership teams to develop robust workforce plans which inform the People and Talent Strategy for each region.
  • Partnering with Work Health & Safety to implement key strategic initiatives to ensure a safe and effective work environment for our people and clients.
  • Partnering with our Learning & Development and Organisational Development teams to drive organisational capability, including compliance.
  • Providing functional HR teams with feedback and insights into how we continuously improve our HR service offering.
  • Continuously review the effectiveness of HR practice against key operational measures and seek to implement improvements in your allocated regions.

This is a Maternity Leave Position, Fixed Term for a period of 12-15 month.

 About You

You will hold a tertiary qualification in Human Resource Management or related field with a minimum of 8 years experience as a Business Partner or HR Generalist.  

You will have extensive experience in building trusted relationships and a true partnering approach to deliver on our organisational HR Strategy.  You’ll have a high level of resilience, personal integrity and commitment to delivering effective outcomes.
