The Opportunity

Due to our continued success and to accommodate our strategic growth we are currently seeking to expand our fundraising team and have an outstanding opportunity for a dynamic fundraising professional. This newly created position brings the opportunity to build a high performing team to enable us to deliver on our strategic plan.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop, manage and execute on Berry Street’s Individual Giving portfolio
  • Lead, coach and mentor a high performing team
  • Direct and implement the strategy for Mid donor, Appeals, Donor Relations, and Regular Giving programs
  • Identify and develop prospects for Bequests & Major Gifts
  • Build relationships with internal, external stakeholders, supporters and donors 
  • Contribute to the future strategy, defining business goals and outcomes
  • Provide support and advice on direct marketing campaigns
  • Develop individual giving strategies that builds loyalty and value
  • Manage and implement targeted campaigns
  • Manage budgets and reporting

About You

  • Degree qualification in business/marketing/communications
  • Minimum 5 years’ experience in a fundraising role with income responsibility
  • Minimum 3 years’ experience in digital fundraising and/or marketing programs
  • Sound understanding of donor management and donor systems
  • Proven track record in building relationships with major donors
  • Campaign & Direct Marketing experience across direct and digital channels
