About the Role

Berry Street’s Strategic Engagement, Fundraising team’s primary objective is to increase Berry Street’s profile and awareness within the community, with the aim of increasing our independent income.

Face to Face Team Leader role is designed to support growth in Berry Street’s regular giving program. This role is to be the driving force behind Berry Street’s own face to face fundraising team, focusing on growth, retention and quality to help secure funding for innovation, specific projects and general support through regular individual giving. 

As a F2F Team Leader you will train, motivate, retain and develop team members, so the team can achieve acquisition and donor quality targets.

About You

You will be an inspiring and motivating team leader, who encourages and gets the best out of their team members, so that the organisational goals of donor acquisition and quality can be achieved. Leading by example, the incumbent will work day-to-day with the team, recruiting new regular donors for Berry Street.

Previous experience in a similar role, coupled with exceptional interpersonal skills and awareness of the face to face environment will be critical to success in this role.  Strong communication and team management skills, and confidence in working with senior level stakeholders both internally and externally is required in this role.

What you'll need to succeed

  • Face to Face Fundraising experience
  • Proven ability to achieve targets/KPIs
  • Proven management and leadership skills, ability to motivate and inspire a team
  • Availability to work from Tuesday to Saturday
  • Full Victorian Drivers Licence (daily travel between different work sites will be required)
  • Use of own vehicle  (up to $10,500 car allowance per year)
