About the role

  • This position is 60.8 hours per fortnight and is a fixed role until 30 August 2019
  • The applicant will be responsible for conducting assessments, administering and interpreting measures
  • The applicant will provide therapeutic treatment as specified in the treatment plan and work cooperatively with the system that sits around the child including child protection practitioners, education providers, health providers, care givers and family.

About you

  • Are you searching for a role provides intensive therapeutic services for infants, children, and young people who have suffered trauma, neglect and disrupted attachment?
  • Want to support vulnerable and at-risk children and young people and provide the necessary care, support and protection and invention planning they deserve?
  • Provide assessments, treatment plans, and therapeutic interventions with children, carers and families as referred by Child Protection.
  • If you have tertiary qualifications in social work, psychology, welfare or a related discipline and have the capacity to work to conduct assessments to understand the impact of trauma, neglect, and abuse experiences on the child’s development functioning this role could be for you.
  • The applicant will have demonstrated knowledge and understanding in the clinical assessment of children, young people and families and will comply with service delivery towards output and outcomes required for the role.
  • Based at Horsham office as part of the Take Two intensive therapeutic service.
