Berry Street's Intensive Case Management Service (ICMS) is funded by the Department of Health & Human Services to provide an intensive level of case management and support to children & young people who are most ‘at risk' in the community. Our team of Case Managers carry a case load and work in a busy but supportive environment. On any given day a Case Manager could be expected to visit with their clients, attend professionals meetings or court and attend to administrative matters.
We have an exciting opportunity for an appropriately qualified individual to join our ICMS program as a Case Manager based at Morwell. Using your understanding of child development and your previous case planning and case management experience you will provide an intensive level of support to young people between the ages of 12 and 17 who are most ‘at risk’ in the community.
We are seeking a tertiary qualified professional with experience working with high risk adolescents. You will be a quick learner with high energy and commitment to your clients, yet able to work within the parameters of the role. You will need to be able to work flexible hours in order to provide a responsive service to your clients. A relevant tertiary qualification in Psychology, Social Work or a related discipline is essential for this position.
